Are you coming to the Fall Seminar this Sunday? We are very excited to throw our first "Fast Pitch," have the wonderful Tamara Anderson in for a vocal coaching session, and once again spin the CD Roulette. The event will be held at Liquor Sweets, 3000 S. 13th St. in Milwaukee, from 12:30-4:30. Only the first 17 entries will be allowed in CD Roulette so plan to arrive early!
Both WAMI members and the music industry public are welcome to attend. For WAMI members, the Fast Pitch or Vocal Coaching is free of charge, for non-members the cost will be $20. Entry fee into the CD Roulette will be $10 for members and $15 for non-members. However, if you choose to become a WAMI member or renew your existing membership at the seminar, you may enter both the CD Roulette as well as attend the Fast Pitch or Vocal Coaching at no additional charge. As an added bonus for our 30th year, we are offering a reduced membership rate of $30/Individual and $100/Band membership. This is an event for all ages. The Wisconsin Area Music Industry (WAMI) is a volunteer organization whose purpose is to educate and recognize the achievements and accomplishments of individuals in the Wisconsin music industry. Since 1980, WAMI has worked to:
1. Improve communication and interaction among members
2. Present awards to honor and celebrate the accomplishments of the Wisconsin music industry
3. Produce music industry/music business seminars and workshops
4. Accumulate information for use within a comprehensive Wisconsin music industry directory
