Dear friend of WAMI,
Thank you for making our first "Fast Pitch" a huge success! Congrats to World Minus One, The Sandcarvers, and The SuperBand on winning the CD Roulette.
For November, we look to help you make "Sound Decisions." This will be a great opportunity to hear, touch and see three of the best selling small, portable PA systems available. We'll introduce, demonstrate and allow hands-on opportunities with the Bose L1 System, Fishman Soloamp and Yamaha Stagepas PA systems.
Rick Lewis of the '09 WAMI winning Liberty Bluegrass Band will sing, using the same mic, guitar and song into each of the three systems to allow you to use your expert ear to hear the differences; then we'll do it again with singer/songwriter Daniel Nathan. Board member James Brocksmith will share his band's experiences dealing with these incredible personal PA systems. We'll go over what is user-friendly, answer your questions and allow a little play time for you to try them for yourselves.
With each system there are price points to consider like everything else. It's a mini-concert, tech demonstration and hands-on display you can use to make your own "Sound Decisions" based on your taste and budget.
