WAMI and Cascio Interstate Music will again be hosting "CD Roulette".

WAMI CD Roulette provides musicians and bands the opportunity to present their music in recorded form and have it reviewed by a panel of Wisconsin music industry professionals. Songs will be judged on a variety of criteria and the winners will receive paid 2012 performance dates at Summerfest, Wisconsin State Fair, and Milwaukee County Music In the Parks Series.

This year the contest is limited to the first 20 entrants. Arrive early to guarantee your spot.

NSAI Songwriting Workshop Recap

Grammy Award-winning songwriter and instructor Rob Lewis, in cooperation with the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) and WAMI, conducted a Songwriting Workshop entitled "From Idea to Arrangement". The workshop was held at the Horny Goat Hideaway in Milwaukee on Saturday September 10, 2011. A small, but attentive crowd had one-on-one time with Rob who reviewed each attendees music had some great feedback for the songwriters at this day-long entertaining and informative event.
